Sue's collaboration case study
A personal riding photograph became two very different visual stories, each explored as a still image and a short animation.

Sue supplied an original riding photograph and the memory behind it. Second Story Studio kept that source visible and separately labelled, then used the conversation to explore what the memory might become rather than simply applying one effect.
The source remains Sue's image. It is watermarked here as a collaborator image and is not available for reuse.
Design
The same starting point was interpreted in two ways. Neither developed direction is presented as a record of a real event.
A warm, illustrative direction that develops the memory into a mother-and-daughter experience, with landscape, colour and relationship carrying the story.
A more dramatic direction that places the rider within a fictional major-event setting to explore ambition, energy and cinematic scale.
Make
The still compositions became short animations, showing how Second Story Studio can build atmosphere and movement without losing the original direction.
Clear creative boundaries
The event still and animation do not show Sue at a real event and do not imply selection, achievement, endorsement or affiliation with Team GB, London 2012 or the Olympic movement. Commercial or promotional use involving protected branding would require separate rights clearance.
This collaboration is displayed with Sue's permission. That permission does not grant reuse of her source image or remove the separate rights-clearance requirements described above.
